  Open in bottle for a couple hours...dark muddled cranberry color, nose of violets and earth. Big wine(for burg) here...saturated liqueured berry fruits, yet with good tartness, silky smooth and structured for the long haul! Beautiful licorice and crushed rocks...tilled strawberry fields, sautéed mushrooms, sour cherry, slight menthol. Suffering from the 05 slumber right now, but like staring out into a deep dark sea...there is something spectacular stirring out there...we might need a bigger boat(load)! One for the cellar for sure! +pts
