Mature Bordeaux, with a bit of fruit and quite some teriary aromes. Nice length that is slightly dry. Sligh brown edges. This is past peak, but no rush needed.

Bought many years ago after an actress, now a Dame, gave me a book for Christmas that included a listing for a local Wine Merchant. I visited and this was one bottle of many bought from them. I knew at the time it was the year before La Mondotte got their act together and got it as a curiosity. It's still a curiosity. Despite being stored in a wine fridge and in excellent condition the cork was a problem. Light body and colour, charming licorice nose, not much fruit left. Short finish. Quite a pleasant drink but well past its best.

Same bad cork experience as last year. 2 hours decanting. Reddish-brown colour, rubber-herbal nose. Similar palate as last year, less fruity and a bit more acidic though. Drink up!

Bought two bottles about 7 years ago for 15€ each.
Cork crumbled into 1000 pieces when I tried to pull it. Red colour with brown fringes, inidicating its age. Was not sure about decanting, given the vintage. But it was necessary, as rubber notes were dominant, initially. They faded into more fruity (berries) and leather notes within the next 1.5 hours. Good acidity, few tannins left.
Will probably drink the other bottle soon.
