  • After a few months and with about 4 hours in a decanter this becomes a reasonably balanced but still very fresh fruity pinot. The acidity seems moderated compared to a few months back, and this is going OK with a pizza.

  • Briefly, on first opening this is very rough, acidic, raw, young. I put it aside. On day 2 it's rather smoother, albeit still very raw and in your face. I enjoyed the 2020 about 6 months ago, but at the moment this is far short of that vintage. I have a few more of these and I'm hoping they rapidly come round.

EDIT: with a second bottle I double decanted it, then left the bottle for about 72 hours. On day 3 it is substantially better than when first opened - smoother, better integrated, lighter, less in your face. Going down rather nicely with some slightly flavourful cheese.
