From .375, seems tired and more advanced then it should be. Amber color, hint of oxidation on nose with caramelized fruit. My second bottle in two weeks, first of which was corked. Even though it’s a half bottle this shouldn’t be where it is after only 19 years. Enjoyed on its own @ 40-55. Purchased from distributor as direct import and stored accordingly… Na zdrowie

#05-02, 8% abv. The nose has a hint of green herbs, a generous amount of pineapple, and a mild slateyness. This isn't a loud wine; overall there's a lovely sense of subdued balance here. The intensity is all there -- the bright acidity of 2001, a generous helping of fruit and herbs, just the right amount of sweetness -- but none of this is ostentatious. Perhaps it's a slight bit of creaminess here that smooths off all the rough edges. Drinking very well now, but there's certainly no rush because there are very few secondary elements right now.

Mostly Champagne at Andy's Thai Kitchen (Chicago, IL): Drinking on point with good balance of rich, sweet white fruit and zesty acidity. Medium-to-full body that glides nicely across the palate. Still with a youthful, rich fruit profile. Nice length.

6/16/2020 - Oechsle Does not like this wine:
2nd bottle CORKED, very sad. Lots of bad corks in top shelf offerings from this producer
