{screwcap} Musk aromas followed by similar flavours tinged with stewed apple laced with cinnamon. Slightly greasy texture, medium sort of weight, shortish but always dry finish. Nose and entry is best, palate gets less interesting the more time you devote to it. An early drinker in an honest but prosaic way.

A consistent wine each year. Is this ‘21 or ‘22? Ohh, it’s ‘23…
Fine and approachable , good acidity and minerals/quartz to the finish.

22nd Canberra International Riesling Challenge (Albert Hall, Canberra): Lime, lime cordial, sulphur; simple and slightly generic nose. Juicy, fleshy, generous, similar lime based flavour profile but balanced. Rather pleasant.
