This was a little flat and herbal out of the gates, but after a few hours, there was dark fruit, licorice, earth, some sous bois, emerging acid, subtle mineral. Lovely. Give this some decanter time.

It's got just the faintest hint of green on the nose and palate, but maybe it's just cuz I know it's '04. Dark berries, kir, mineral, glossy tannins. Caressing wine. Viscous. At its peak but I imagine will certainly hold for another few years. I really like this as it shows just how great M. Bize did with these grapes in a horrific year. Great nostalgic juice.
