Tuesday Night Double Blind $40+: Darker core, dark maroon rim; olives, purple fruit, black pepper, very Syrah; firmer structure but a plushness and elegance to the tannin, higher acid, new oak just a whisper in the background now, already secondary notes, very sour cherry and darker fruit, sour plum, roasted quality, mineral, bay leaf, herbs; very complex and satisfying.

Friday Night Double Blind Tasting $60+ (Bin 75): Dark core with dull maroon rim; some French oak, black pepper, tapenade, brine; nice Burgundian texture, stony, good mid palate, sour plum, very fresh and drinkable; delicious, 93+.

Shiraz and Syrah from all over the world (Wine Route Savion): Tasted blind. Very disappointing. On the nose ripe fruits, vanilla and some other strange odors that I couldn't define. Lacking of balance, hollow, too bitter and too predominant acidity. I intended to score it as 85, but then I saw that I tasted it in the past and it should be an excellent wine, so I believe it was spoiled and gave no score (115$)

Still tight. Probably needs 3-4 years. Promise of dark fruit strained through cedar.
