The wine looks Purple colored. The legs are Slow. It smells like Fig, Prune, Blueberry, Black currant (cassis), Cedar, and Meaty. It tastes like Blackberry, Black currant (cassis), Prune, Raisin, Mushroom, and Honey. The body is Medium/Full. The wine has Silky texture. The wine finishes Medium and very sweetness.

Overly ripe and sporting some alcohol on the nose. No discernable structure. fig and cooked apricot on the nose and a muddy impression on the palate. Given the vintage and pricepoint a failure.

Dark, dark wine. A bit hot on the nose, with lots of figgy, port like scents, though with some work you can get to some more traditional CdP nose profiles. This carries to the palate...a big wine, not overly balanced, perhaps just too young? Or to big for its own good? Will never find out as I do not have any others to rest for a decade.
