Bought this at a local shop in Colorado on a ski trip to serve as a pizza wine; got injured early in the trip; couldn't get to this bottle because I came home early; and had to stash it in my luggage. (I certainly wasn't going to throw it out!! :) So here at home, a few days later, the bottle having safely survived the flight, served with a leftover lasagna wifey pulled from the freezer - rather than a pizza - it's doing quite well. It's way more than serviceable. Fruit is just a bit muted - but that could well be because of the travel. (I'm still suffering from the United flight, it's understandable the wine might be as well ...)
I generally like anything I've tried from this producer over the years, and I'm certainly not disappointed with this one at this price, even under less than ideal conditions.

Forsmak før Frank og jentene kommer på pizza. Testet først i Z burgund, ble for ekstrahert og kokosvanilje. Bedre i universalglasset. Fortstasatt vanilje på nesen, kraftig og fast frukt. Tror vi kan styre unne vietti fremover

Extremely tight nose. Started to unfurl in the decanter, showing rhubarb, sour cherry, and fresh floral aromas. Palate is about as bright as they come, offering tart cherry, citrus zest, and lingering strawberry with a hint of black licorice. Tannic, but clearly on its way to integration. Would probably wait another 6 months to a year and this should be singing.

Piemonte: Truffles instead of Turkey; 11/23/2023-12/2/2023 (Barolo, Barbaresco, Alto Piemonte and of course Alba): Perhaps integrating already more in the bottle than the previous note because I found the wine quite drinkable. It’s a more full bodied style of Nebbiolo (after an afternoon of drinking Lapo Berti where it was more elegance and finesse going). Still, drinks well and again it was working as a pizza wine so that works just fine. Easy drinking.
