Spicy aromas give way to more early morning woody elements with hints of soaked cherries. On the palate its very spicy but weightless with a slight smoky note on the end - very savoury. This drink reminds me of a foggy day in the Loire in mid autumn! Highly recommended particularly.

Definitely Loire but an aromatic expression of pinot that I never would have guessed blind. It’s extremely green and foresty on the nose, alluringly so actually, while the flavors are clean red fruits and a rich supple mouthfeel with the softest brush of tannins. I really like this.

Strongly vegetal nose, with a dominant pine needle / anise liqueur aroma that screams (to me, anyway) Loire red or underripe Beaujolais. Better on the palate with elegant but brisk flavors of fresh cherry/strawberry, menthol/pine needle, mushroom. Really nice, subtly rich mouthfeel. Now a lot of folks would say this has a green streak a mile wide, but i rather enjoyed it.

At Terroirs: a bit of earth and funk, but fresh and with real pinot sap, lots of layers, silky texture
