Importer tasting (@ RdG): Candy. Pure. A bit tropical. Commercially well made; quite simple but pure and inviting. Candy sweetness and pleasant acidity.

Consumed within a week of the wine actually coming off of the boats from Italy; may have had bottle sickness as a result. Good grigio that doesn't go overboard on the acidity or citrus fruit like other grigios often do, and with the underlying subtle saline water taste that defines the Alto Adige region. Clean and easy drinking, but a bit too subdued; will be interesting to see how this wine tastes after it's been off of the boat for a few months - will add a new note then.
