Pronounced nose intensity with notes of black fruits, mushroom, spices, toast. Medium+ acidity and medium tannin. Tannin is velvety and rounded. Drinking very well. Did not decant.
Pleasantly surprised. Still in the drinking window but perhaps on the way down. We decanted for 2+ hours and then enjoyed an integrated Pomerol. Menthol / spices / mint / classic barn yard. Don’t be fooled by the sub par vintage. This is a worthy ‘drinker!’

Nose of cassis, violets, barnyard funk. Tasted black fruits, violets, grape skin, tobacco, herbs and peppers. Long spicy finish, with a bitter espresso aftertaste. Dense. However, the bottle became rather edgy after awhile. Not bad overall. Not sure if this will improve though

Needs air to open up. 2+ hour decant highly recommended.
