Clear, pale straw color. Vibrant. Fresh, clean nose of lemon zest and wet stone. Good long dry Chablis-like mouthful, again citrussy with good acid backbone. Very good, untinkered with Chardonnay. Excellent with oysters.

OC Fratello Offline--Stainless Chards And Petite Sirahs (Fratello's Laguna Niguel): Smoky nose, kind of a malty note, with zing of pear and green apple. Note--I added a duplicate bottle of this wine to the same blind line up and I found bottle #2 to be truer to what I would gather from the Inox, especially in a more balanced vintage like 2007: river rock, citrus and slate. Clean, pure and my notes have an underlined notation of 'delicious'. Clearly for me the second bottle in the lineup was better than the first....bottle variation? Anyway, one of my Top 3 of the chard flight.

Blind Unoaked Chardonnay and Petit Sirahs (Fratello's, Laguna Niguel, CA): Served blind. Nose doesn't give up much. Palate is crunchy, clean and balanced with strong lemon qualities. Picks up a bit of cat pee later on.
