Purchased at winery in Beaune. Opened the same day - badly oxidized. When I returned it, the winemaker told me it was going through a bad phase, and it would be very good in a couple years. !!!!

A beautiful white Burgundy. Pale green tinged gold. Wonderfully pure lime and lemon cream aromas mixed with a touch of that walnutty wood tinge. Juicy and finely structured on the palate with great fruit and the rich lemon lime flavors mingle on the finish. Chiseled and nothing flabby about this. I've had some bottle variation with this wine and some were definitely premoxed but still relatively drinkable but those that were ageing properly have been superb.

Floral, classic chardonnay nose with flinty notes, deep wood and exotic fruit aromas. More closed in the mouth initially but it did open up to reveal toasty oak, mineral gun flint and lingering citrus acidity. Great surprise and so youthful still - if I had any more I would wait another year or two.

Fine. Hardly better than the avg white burg you'd get at at a nice restaurant by the glass.

Beautiful. Pure, integrated, textured and nuance. Well balanced and seamless. Long finish, still with plenty of freshness.
