Was updating my collection of 200 magnums and found this. Promptly opened it and cork barely saturated, mid neck fill, nose of honey, sage, pear, lemon and lime, went well with the meatloaf for dinner, same on the palate, medium body, delicious, at its best, plan to finish the rest with dinner tonight, elegant, almost no acid, no grass, smooth and savory, long finish.

Pulled this out from the back of the fridge, I grimaced when I saw it was a sauv blanc instead of the chardonnay. So I thought, what the hell, we'll give it a go. Well, to my surprise this was quite delicious. Nice fruit levels, it has nice a granny smith apple flavor with some grassy notes. Very smooth, it did not change much with air but then again i didn't let it breath much out fear it would go bad quickly. This was a pleasant surprise, i would drink them within the next year.

Light brass yellow to straw at rim. Floral nose with citrus fruit and notes from the use of oak which is also apparent on the palate as a greast texture not fitting quite well to the variety.
