  • Long in the tooth at this point, but that's my own fault. I was not familiar with "Ruche" and did not imagine it was a grape--one that is best consumed young. I saw Piedmont on the label and had on Nebbiolo blinders, I guess. Still, was able to enjoy it with some Pizza with Italian Sausage though it was going pruny and would not have been very pleasant without the food. Alcohol definitely coming through clearly on the finish. Too bad. Know I know what Ruche is, I'll have to sample a younger example.

  • Beatiful bouquet of roses and crushed stones. Good acid. Very nice. Decidedly Piemontese. Excellent value
