Asperg Wine Syndrome Tasting Group: Pre-Easter tasting (@Private location): Tasted blind. Clear, medium garnet color with some watery rim. Clean, medium intense, fully developed nose. A bit oxidized, some iron, dried red fruits, some barn. Dry, rather low tannin, medium body. On the palate again a bit oxidized, some fine fruit, a bit of iron, some coffee. Nice texture, but certainly this bottle was past its peak and rather thin. 86
