Found a few bottles of this in my cellar tonight, I bought it a few years back. Interesting older 11 year burgundy. Color is brickish red with slight orange edges, med dry fruit, with a round softness in the middle. Finish is a little short but nice with a pork tenderloin this evening. If you have any....drink it soon :)

This wine drank well and paired decently with a pork chop. The wine does not have much in the way of a nose and not a lot of fruit on the palate. Someone else commented that this wine was "Rhone-like" and I would agree with that. Somewhat of a disappointment given higher expectations but not enough to not like it or give it a poor rating here. I suppose one might call this rating damned with faint praise.

I was excited when I first popped this wine. Splash-decant into the glass yielded a pretty, raspberry nose. But, the palate was somewhat lacking in fruit, and unfortunately did not make up for that with any other complexities. Pretty short. Maybe this was tight and not ready to drink yet, but I doubt it. Especially since it did not improve over the next couple of days. Pretty disappointing for the price ($47).

Degustato presso l'affascinante cuverie di Louis Latour. Un bel naso di frutti rossi. In bocca si presenta equilibrato con un bel corpo. Un buon bicchiere di vino con un prezzo onesto (per un Borgogna 1° Cru)

Mature, sweet and rich. Rhone-like. Toast and sweetness
