  • Darker ruby with some light bricking; fumey reduction with cherry, strawberry, glue, some pot-pouri turing to damp sous-bois and light animal fur; medium light body, good tart berry fruit and touch of metalic minerality, tangy acidity, faint fine tannins and an adequate finish. Wow, this rocks for a 14 year old Bourgogne. Amazing, very tasty, but the reduction is pretty heavy.2 ha of vines on gentle slopes in Nuits-St. Georges. This is at its peak now.

  • Color is translucent reddish-brown. Nose is turning toward the vinegary side, some wet soil notes with no real discernible fruit. Very thin in the mouth, fruitless, this wine goes down the drain...
