A really nice Savigny-Les-Beaune. This has matured into a smooth, rich wine showing sophistication and finesse. Dark red fruits, a bit of leather, good length all come together in the glass. Good from the bottle but really opens up after 30 minutes. No reason to cellar any longer. Previous bottles were drying out. This was an excellent example.

This is drying out. It has been for a few years now. A nice show of dark fruits, fresh acidity, but getting thin and dry. Drink up pronto. This isn’t going anywhere but downhill.

This is getting dryer as it ages, bringing the acidity forward. Somewhat unpleasant, redeemed by strawberries, anise, medium length but pretty thin overall. Needs food. Drink up.

Young and hard on pop n' pour. Rounds and smooths with air. Needs time. Re-visit in 3-5 years.

As Lipsman said, dry and somewhat unpleasant. I am not so sensitive to TCA, but I think it's corked. And if it's not, I still don't want to drink it.
