gold colour, with a nose of pineapple, honey, apricot and lots of that mineraly character -- diesel!! Just moderate acidity. Med-long finish, again with the pineapple character. Little tingle on the finish on the finish. Very good.

AP Nr 31059 020 98 Dark straw to pale gold, thick and slow tears. Nose: petrol, minerality, peach and apple, then honey as flavors develop in the glass. Palate: Attack of peaches and minerality. Sharp lemony acidity at the finish that comes clean the sweetness of this Spätlese. This is why I love aged german Rieslings.

another first -aged riesling. golden straw colour. initial nose of paraffin and bees wax. very creamy palate, mild sweetness with taste of honey and apricot. no hint of acidity what so ever. smooth drinking. only criticism is it did not evolve much in the glass - but that is hard to do when you polish off the bottle so quickly :)

Consistent with previous note, but more diesel on the nose. Love it.

Warm golden tone. Contrasts very nicely with the 07 Spatlese from Wegeler. Somewhat musky in the mouth. Still, sweet and pleasurable.
