Ripe, Cabernet based wine. Dark color. Dark fruit, black currant, black cherries, some chocolate, pepper. Harmonious and well balanced. Medium to long finish with still some acidity. Might keep for 2-3 more years.

The wine is still in a fantastic shape - the nose is pronounced, with flavors of bell pepper, black fruit, cedar and vintage leather. What a great wine to try with 16 years of age

Fathers day selection. For my tastes, I loved it, Rate? 93. At first it could have been almost any grape. With air, the lineage became more clear. Very nice blend, Bothe power and fruit.

Drinking superbly and at peak - drink or hold but leaning heavily on the drink, even though this does have likely 2-3 years left before degradation kicks in I see no upside to further cellaring. 6 more bottles left and will be knocking one off every 2-3 months. Subtle, beautiful, medium - full bodied, dark purple, balanced and with a medium length aftertaste. Nose of more red then dark fruit, floral with violet notes and garrigue. Flavor profile of more cedar then oak, dark cherry, cassis and then leather and grilled meat. Definitely recommend with the caveat that these need to be drunk up shortly. CanNOT believe that this is anyone's 2nd label wine.

Nice if not profound, with a lovely warm satisfying finish. Black and red fruits, cedar, touch of leather, spice and pepper, with a touch of menthol. Medium length finish with some complexity. Drink now and over the next 10 years.

(Napanook) #1; COLOR-dark; NOSE-really pretty; very candied to me (purple gummy bears); hint of bell pepper on the back-end; really dark candied fruit; sweetness coming through on the back-en; PALATE-some black olive which I really like; a very chewy wine; quite approachable for being so young; velvety smooth; exuberant bright California fruit, but has good finesse and structure; a black tea earth component; I like this; I love the way this wine finishes; finishes very old world; Bordeaux lovers looking for a little California sunshine would love this; at the price this is very attractive; will easily last 7-12 years; a really good effort that is better than many more expensive Napa wines; RP-92; GV-90+
