This is a big malo/oak Ca. chardonnay. Not a style I particularly like but this wine keeps some nice balance with the addition of melon and floral on the nose. Some zing in the middle and the finish manages to keep the oak from being overpowering.

Bigger and rounder than the Four Hearts. More noticeable oak on the nose, with no tartness to the fruit profile. Riper in the mouth, but with plenty of acidity to back it up. The minerality carries through the finish to cut the oak a bit. A-

Drank really well. Maybe too long for most, but I really enjoyed the age on the wine.

This is a rich, perfectly balanced Chardonnay, with a deeply floral nose and ripe melon flavors balanced by crisp acidity.
