  Ruby red in color lightening a bit at the edge. On the nose there are cherries, blackberries, earthy elements like wet dirt and leaves. Light to medium body with very soft tannins and decent acidity. On the palate there are cherries, raspberries, minerals and some herbal elements. Finish is a bit short and turns a bit herbal. I've had better bottles of this wine, perhaps it has peaked and started downhill a bit or it was just an off bottle.
