  • Dark gold in color. We had no expectations for this, but this was not oxidized! Amazing array of aromas including hazelnut, cinnamon, coffee with floral and mineral notes. Rounded and soft with medium-full body and baking spice, hazelnut and a little citrus on the palate. Well balanced with good length. What more could you ask for in a Meursault? Wonderful.

  • I was holding my breath when I opened and saw the deep golden color. No premox however. Nose seemed to blossom with airing. Initially quite closed, then developed some spice and a slight nutty component that was nice. Big mouthfeel with tons of acid on the back end. Fruit is pretty subdued, but still enjoyable. It continued to improve over 3-4 hours. It went well with a seafood paella.
