No notes taken. Superb from start to finish. Quite some reductive notes mixed with toasted sesame, bright orchard and citrus fruit, salty minerality. The strong vintages shows with quite some depth and ahifh but round and perfectly integrated acidity. This is punching so much above its weight, incredible.

Chez Gar, pale, orchard fruit with citric twist, stone, fullish for white Burg, ok length and persistence, still on simple side, skin tannins not yet fully integrated, no hint of pox, not quite ready, upside, 5 years at least. VGI (17).

Very reduced with petrol dominating the nose at first. It breathes to show sappy orchard fruit flavours. It is dense, with a line of minerally acidity. Needs a long decant if you want to approach now.

Wine & Dine (@EDEKA Ueltzhöfer, Heilbronn, Germany): *** brief notes form wine & dine, no rating *** Deep nose, a bit reductive, noticeable toasting. On the palate nice yellow fruit, medium+ acidity, a bit unbalanced. Overall a bit nervous, but nice. Certainly not at its peak. Give it a few more years. Good finish. 91+

Slightly a typical Meursault. Fairly fresh wine. Clear apple and lemon. I like it but wouldn’t necessarily have guessed Meursault. Not entirely sure about qpr.
