  Direkter Vergleich zu 2007 Emrich Schönleber Halenberg
  
  Viel mehr Schiefer in der Nase. Würziger, aggressiver, etwas pfeffriger. Langer, phenolischer Abgang. Ohne Frage: großer Wein. Im direkten Vergleich und personal Taste gefällt der Emrich Schönleber Halenberg 07 etwas besser, weil er zwar erst zurückhaltender, dann aber in sich konzentrierter und
  tiefer im Abgang ist. Unerwartet deutliche Unterschiede trotz gleicher Lage und Jahrgang wahrzunehmen.

  spektakulær på alle måter. Da jeg fikk den i glasset var det en fantastisk (jule)kryddermix over umiskjennelig mineralsk rasepreg med noe moden frukt og honningtone. Uslåelig konsentrasjon og syre. Strålende riesling

  Emrich-Schönleber Monzinger Halenberg Riesling Großes Gewächs Vertical 2005-2018: Herbal, long. Tropical. Very salty finish.

  Glass: Zalto Universal
  Popped and poured, drank over three days. Clear, medium golden color. Clean, medium+ developing nose. Deep and complex with notes of smoke, stony mineral notes, yellow fruit, citrus, some fine vanilla. Beautiful!
  On the palate dry with some noticeable sweetness at the beginning that blended in with time and air. Medium+, ripe acidity, perfectly integrated. Fine, ripe apple, some zesty notes, fine crushed stones, some herbs and smoke. Very fine and elegant, beautiful balance. But also, with a vibrant energy and amazing pressure and tension! Lots of extract, juicy and simply extremely joyful to drink. Long, fine and vibrant finish. Was even better on day two. Simply a great and monumental dry Riesling! 95

  Wonderfully matured GG from the "Halenberg". Dark lemon yellow, the nose fresh with plenty of ripe citrus notes and hints of wet pebbles. On the tongue dances a wonderfully ripe acidity. Very nice freshness, good aromatic depth and a really nice acidity, which makes the wine appear very lively and young. Aromatic a quite classic Halenberg with ripe citrus notes, wet stones and a certain herbaceousness, which only the Halenberg produces, but which is difficult to put into words.
