100% Pinot Noir. Curiously, before reading up on the wine, I thought there was a good amount of oak showing thought here, but as it turns out, this wine is primarily elevated in tank. So with the bias of having read up on the wine, I can in fact smell and taste the chalky soil, along with slightly austere fruit and pretty firm tannins. This is really, really young, this wine and in need of some serious cellaring. Not that it can't be enjoyed now, but the tannins are biting the gums. I'm sure this could turn into something special.

Pale; cherried, scented, showy, touch of oak, spiced; good clean fruit, firm, some tannin remains. Give this another 12 months.
