Tuesday Night Double Blind $40+ (Bin 75): Light red with pale rim; cherry, orange, strawberry, almost cranberry, spice, open and ready; softer, good cut, sappy, tangy; in a good secondary phase.

(Again) a quite dusty wine, even in the appearance in the glass. The nose is soon after being poored going downhill, so this wine should be drunk as soon as possible (do not decant this wine!). This wine does not live up to what you expect from a 1996 Mazy-Chambertin grand cru. Of course this is reflected in the modest price of this wine (about $ 30).
