Bottle came from an ideal cellar, decanted two hours before dinner. Good old style claret, very mature with lots of tertiary notes, balsamic and a hint of barnyard, on the palate fresh, elegant and for today tastes even a bit thin though still very persistent with a long finish. 92 points for old Bordeaux lovers, all others should go with something else. Don't wait much longer with the last bottles.

Drank it with my wife over the dinner. In a large size bordeaux glass. The age really helps mellows it down. Real smooth. Flavor shows after roughly an hour. Plummy, mocha and black tea. Alcohol level just right for this old bordeaux. Good.

Good ruby core with a little orangey fade at the rim; a little stewed and offering leaf decay on the nose. Appears quite mature now; silky and delicate, a bit lacking in concentration now. Perfectly ok but a relic really.

Dark ruby colour with mature mahogany hues. It has a subtle nose of blackcurrant, earth, floral and oak. Smooth mouthfeel and seamless mid-palate, showing blackcurrant, tobacco and touch of savouriness. Nice medium finish with soft and ripe tannins.
