Possesses a gold colour with a fresh green tinge. The wine is somewhere near its absolute apogee. Great nose of toast, white peach, fig and almond butter. It is rich, voluminous and powerful, with good detail of orchard fruit flavours and a finish that drives on and on.

Giaconda were making the best Chardonnay in Australia in the 90’s and this one is a beaut. It has some cashew, fig, white peach and toast on the nose. In the mouth it is full with sappy, intense orchard fruits and a line of grapefruit acidity. It has good volume and excellent cut and is remarkably fresh still. World class!

Colour yellow but not too much, so it has matured slowly and well . It is lacking on the finish a touch but is a marvellous demo of this great wine
