Softer, lavender and earthiness. Quite fun at $17. Maybe even a touch tight still. 60% syrah... and other things I believe.... After a couple of pours you start to feel the tannins.

A lot of wine for the money. Very powerful with dense brambleberries and a long finish. Lasted 5 days after opening. Lots of life left in this puppy.

Nice aromas of Provence. Dark rich fruit. A little edgy but in a good way. Very nice especially for the price.

YES. Pic St Loup. Deep dark wine, characteristic of best from this area; like L'Hortus but not as good.

Great food wine. Nice acidity, medium-bodied, and charming. Very little structure and no complexity. Near-term drinker, but nice.
