This wine had a number of hours of air. This was the first time I have had a cork fall to pieces when opening the bottle. I have cellared the wine for it whole life, so I know it was well cared for.

A very thick and dark wine. Expresivo is a blend of 60% Malbec, 10% Cabernet Sauvignon, 10% Syrah, 10% Petit Verdot, and 10% Tannat. Nice modern wine that is drinking well.

Popped and poured, but this evolved quite bit over the hour it was drank. Some air will make this a bit better, but drinking quite nicely pretty soon after opening. Not a fruit driven wine - the malbec sort of takes over, which makes sense based on the 60% malbec in the blend.

This wine has finally come around. I was drinking my other bottles too soon! Dark fruit with smooth tannins. Long finish.
