Still holding up well; decanted about an hour prior to tasting. Nose of blueberry, tobacco, raw meat. Smooth mouth feel with oak and some herbaceousness ending with some dustiness (?Rutherford?). Nice mellow tannins with close to a 20 second finish. Highly enjoyed!

Not sure where Raymond sourced this fruit, but it was complex, bold, and rustic - character reminiscent of Oakville Road. Deep amethyst hue moving to a garnet meniscus. Medium body, tempered legs; I am really digging the balance - much like old world Dronne fruits, but some hi-fidelity tannin nuance.
Blackberry, graphite, little cured tobacco. Smooth mouthfeel, firm yet round tannins; the depth of this wine continues to impress. Big cassis note with graphite and tanned black bull leather across the palate. Silverado dust fronts the conclusion, plus firm oak and long blackberry notes, hint of kiln-dried cedar. A wow of a bottle; drinking superbly now, but thinking the optimal window is closing within 2-3 years. A-/93 = 50/5/12/9/9/8
