  Aweful. Amber, almost burnt color. Bouquet was heavy and floral. Strong medicinal taste from start to finish. Couldn't overcome with any of it's other attributes. Tasted again 7/2 - in all fairness the first bottle must have been spoiled. Still has an almost chemical bouquet but actually opened up nicely. Palate more along the lines as described by vineyard. Would rate this bottle an 85. Will not dump remaining bottles down drain but give another try later.

  A thick, creamy nose, floral and herbal, almost too heady for what was to come. Light and buttery in the mouth with good acidity, a bitter mid-palate and a grassy finish. Some components of the nose and taste are a touch unbalanced but overall an inoffensive basic wine. A nose heavy, pleasant 82-83pts.
