Well cellared, solid cork. Did not decant (had very little sediment.) Upon opening the fruit was a bit thin underneath mature tannins but came to life after ~20 minutes. Very enjoyable with beef pot roast.

Exceptional, paired alongside its sibling from 2004. Despite the slightly different makeup in the components in this Bordeaux blend between the two years, I had difficulty telling them apart. A slight nod to the 2005 over the 2004 - but only by a nose at the wire.

Popped and poured. Medium-plus garnet. Nose of black cherry, plum, tobacco, and earthy herbaceous notes. Medium-plus body. On the palate, this certainly shows flavors more reminiscent to a Graves than typical from CA, with notes of dark fruits, loads of earth, tobacco, and certainly tinges of green. Moderate close ends with drying tannins. Drinking nicely right now but there's no hurry.

Solid meritage that captures the Dry Creek terroir. Perfect with strip steak....no real notes taken.

Popped and poured. Still great fruit up front but finish was abrupt. Enjoyed it nonetheless.
