Henri Bourgeois Sancerre Jadis and Etienne Henri Verticals (Grande Bretagne Hotel, Athens, Greece): Medium gold. Tropical nose with mango, passion fruit, honey, beeswax. Reminiscent of a high quality white Pessac-Leognan white. Medium-bodied, round, complex with a high acidity that differentiates it from the Pessac white that the nose reminded me of. Excellent length. At peak but will age further.

This is very good Sauvignon Blanc, but i'm not overly impressed, maybe it the grapetype, as i'm the world biggest SB fan, but it strikes me as a bit boring after the first glas. You do get some some good grape- and lemon fruit, elderberry juice, a refreshing acidic touch, and a little hay and gras, BUT thats about it. OK enjoyable but to simpel and for that kind of money (in Denmark 60 USD+) i expect more than a "picnic" wine. You can get the same pleasure out of an 15 USD New Zealand SB.

As noted in other notes, not a mindblowing experience but a very respectable bottle.....with one of the deepest punts in history... Maybe that is why some expect more? :) Solid nose of grapefruit, Citrus rind, herbalniess and mineral / stones. Well made and niely structured with a good level of acidity. not particularly long but good with our meal of oysters and Cherrystones.

Was expecting more for that price. Still, a very respectable sancerre. Grapefruit nose with herbal undertones. Straight clean mineral finish.

Winery: More subtle fruit, lychee; not citrus or trop. but very floral; white flowers, nice.
