  • Still green-gold, can you believe it? Bath salts, lavender, oil of frangipani/verbena ie something exotic lurking there plus hint lemon juice. Glorious aromatic nose. Dry, medium to full bodied, super dry back palate, cleansing acidity readies the mouth for the next sip. As impressive on the palate as on the bouquet. long finish. Quintessential high quality riesling that would stand proud in international company. Indefinite life. This is all down to terroir - take a bow Drumborg!

  • I have very little experience aging Riesling and place the caveat that I predominantly drink Chardonnay / white burg, but wowee this was fantastic. The freshness and acid line was insane for a wine of over 10 years. There is complexity and some sweetnesses that has come through with age, but under the screw top it looks like it could easily go another 15-20 years of you want. A bit of a game changer for me. Superb.
