Two bottles opened, the better of which is referenced here. The nose shows the expected plum and ganache but with an atypically high percentage of Cabernet Sauvignon for the right bank, there's lots of cedar and pencil as well. With a little more focus, definition, and depth this could have been really terrific. Based on some of the prior notes here, perhaps some bottles are (or were?). Pristine fills (into the neck) and terrific corks, yet I doubt this is still too young as both bottles were best after uncorking and faded with 2-3 hours in the decanter.

Sometime you enjoy the wine and the company so much that you forget to take notes. One of my favorite chateau in the 80's amd 90's. Recently bought in superb condition, I have never seen a cork in such condition for a 20+yo wine. Slow ox for 1 hours and then serve immediately after decant; served on white wine glass. The wine did hold up and improve during the meal, but IMHO drink up.

Nose of cigar box, black cherry, and hint barnyard, this wine has peaked and time to enjoy is now, medium/big body, very tasty, rich fruit, typical Bordeaux, try it and you will enjoy it, and a long, long, finish. Uploaded photo.

Colour still vibrant. Decent fruit and structure but lacks oomph. Drink up
