Once the wine warmed up a little it certainly flowered into a beatiful wine. Had the classic tart of a an old burgundy - this wine seemed to completely coat the tongue and slowly seep into the taste buds, making for a long tasting experience. The fruit was perfectly balanced with acid and tannins, and extremely delightful - it defintiely filled your mouth with fruit without being overpowering. The nose wasn't there - there was a hint of nuts and caramel, but it was fleeting. If the nose had complemented the taste this wine would be legendary.
