  dark brooding fruit with a deep red rim color. Still primary in nature with excellent concentration and balance. Nose was available upon opening and improved during the evening and held up over two days. Would wait another 3-5 years.

  Two more stellar bottles, one remains. Deep purple with no signs of bricking. Blackberry and blueberry on the nose. Blackberries and cream, dark cherry, gooseberry, and black currant on the palate with silky but assertive tannins and oak spice on the backend. I’ve had this cellared since 2017, and it’s at its peak now. No sign of giving up the ghost yet, but I’d say drink now for maximum enjoyment!

  Purple red color. Nose of dark fruit. Round and smooth on the palate, blackberries, espresso. some silky tannins. Medium finish. Not too big. Good now but I doubt that the wine will be nice in 5 years from now.

  Love Saffredi! Blackberries, balsamic, fig, cassis, prune, plum, dried black fruit, clove, soft espresso, medium to full body, superb long finish
