Steely to chalky nose with lemons, apples, bisquits, butter and a touch of coffee. Dry on the mid-weigth palate with tender moussé and lowish citric acidity bringing decent balance. Rich fruit, bisquits and coffee. Definitely good stuff but could use some more acidic strictness. Tasted from a Mag.

Bright golden colour. Very soft and gentle mousse. Intense fragrances of red apples, lemon cream biscuits, nuts and flowery honey. The taste shows very refined flavours of various apples and biscuits, a hint of orange liqur and very fine integrated nut aromas. This Cava appears to be a gentle, lean and not too simple minded sparkling wine. It isn't as tart, spicey or harshly down-to-earth like some Cavas. It goes down the gullet rather easy and makes a hell of fun. Very enjoyable stuff for little money (approx. 18 Euros).

Wide bottle variation with this wine. Most recent specimen withered under analytical tasting. Muddled nose, rather flat, no grip, no finish. Drunk with a Spaniard who says the few really fine Cavas are never exported -- you must know the producers. This wine being only a footnote in the universe of sparklers, not worth the effort.

Tasted twice. First example, newly delivered, was in bottle-shock. Two months later, far and away the best Cava of my experience. Lush nose, subtle green-gold color, good cut and weight, some length. Better than many NV Champagnes.
