This wine has aged nicely, better than last bottle. It has a fragrant bouquet of dark red fruits and vanilla with hints of sweet spice. The pallette opens with lots of Bing cherry and other red fruits like strawberry, raspberry, and Ranier cherry with leather notes emerging mid-pallette along with some Tuscan earth notes. The finish is silky smooth and medium long with completely integrated tannins, but still vibrant acidity to keep the wine tasting fresh. I'd guess this wine is peaking now or close to it, so delicious.

Well, this is just OK for me, dog. Sort of reductive, soupy, and lacking in fixed acidity. Some nice black cherry and plum, but sort of stewed. Short finish. This should be drunk up at the end of a party when your guests are less discerning or poured into gorilla punch.

Good. Black cherry and black currant flavors with light spice and mineral notes. Finishes medium long with more cherry and some eucalyptus notes. Mature, drink now and into 2014.

This is a Tuesday night frozen pizza wine. Nothing more, nothing less. To say it is anything better than average, particular for a 2006 Tuscan wine, would be incorrect.

very good dry Tuscan wine. Well balance with lots of dusty earth and a little fruit. Still has nice tannins.
