  Tar, dark fruits, good acidic balance. Dark notes. Nicely resolved tannins. Surprisingly youthful

  Very nice - almost bubbly. Should be enjoyed this year, but still very good.

  I found this wine in the back of my cellar where it had been ignored too long. I expected it to be quit dead, but decided to give it a try before poring it down the drain. Dark black pit fruits with a hint of licorice on the nose and palate. Soft and smooth in the mouth but lacking the nice acid lift it had when younger. Sadly the wine is showing its age but was better than expected.

  Too bad this got lost in my cellar - it is definitely WAY past prime. After decanting, showed lots of blackberry and dark fruits. It was really interesting for about 1/2 hour, then it started to taste unbalanced.
