(4/14/2010 rated 92 points: Decanted for an hour through the vinturi, it opened reasonably well. Black fruit, leather, iron, and iodine on the nose. Nice depth of these mostly non-fruit flavors on the palate. Plenty of grip on the backside, it's a really nice window into the vintage for '07 CdP's. I'm trying reasonably hard to resist opening some and this certainly deserved more time, but hey!... (4366 views))
This has gone from a big young wine to a smooth old fart (like moi?). The black fruit is more Kirsch and it remains earthy, herbal, and minerally. Less grip on the nice medium finish. now-2025, sooner the better I think.

This has nice aromas of funk, earth and garrigue. The palate has stewed blackberries, plum and black cherry notes along with the earth and garrigue. Medium, integrated acidity and tannins. I would recommend drinking now as it tastes about at its peak though it will likely last through its 10th birthday.

The nose on this wine reminds me of the smell of a well used grill as it's warming up, along with some dark fruit and a touch of earth. Similar flavors- plum, black cherry and a bit of leather & dirt. Medium acid/tannins & finish. Fairly nice overall, though 90pts at a discounted price of $30 is pushing it for me. Drinking well now or over the next 1-3 years.

Nice fruit (cherry, slight plum). Slight smoke, mineral & garrigue. Agree with below - nice depth to some of the non fruit flavors. Really well balanced. Drinking well. Can definitely see this developing further - 91+

7/14/2013 - MotoMannequin Does not like this wine:
Enjoyed my first bottle of this a few years ago, but this one came off as hot and pruny, almost port-like.
