  • Great cornas. Consistent with past bottles. Smells and tastes like Balthazar. Distinct black olives (which I hate to eat but love in wine). One of the best wines I've had and very individualistic.

  • Opened this way too early, but curiosity prevailed. Super complex nose of flowers and herbs followed by more of the same on the palate along with notes of black olive, blood, mineral and a wee bit of black fruit. Tannins are firm but refined and there's ample acidity to keep things fresh. Fruit is hiding behind all of the nascent complexity, but there's plenty of stuffing here and I expect the wine to evolve nicely. First wine from this producer but it won't be the last.
