Dark purple and extremely thick and syrupy. Drinks more like a port than expected. Raisiny and burnt caramel dominate the plate. The first glass is a treat. The second glass is hard to get down.

dried raising with coffee and toffee all over. thick and super sweet gold , thick caramel with hints of gold in it's rim super aromatic but oak notes are more pronounced than the red vino nobile compared to a Pedro ximenez by ws for the 96(this year) citrusy mineral character VERY good, but extremely expensive... 25 Euros a tasting and 180 Euros the bottle at the winery in Italy
