  Initially closed but better after about an hour open. Some spice on nose with dried fruits on palate. Finishes short. Drink up

  The nose is plentiful in cherries with hints of mushrooms underneath. The palate is still nicely fruity, the wood giving good amplitude before a very pinot finish. Would have given one more point if it weren't for a trace of bitterness between the tannins and the acidity, probably from the oak.
