  This bottle presented itself less advanced than the last one, more fruit pronounced with less earthy flavours. Beautiful nose of red and dark fruit and some lavender. On the palate then although rather tight with high tannins, leaving the bouquet in the background. Decanted for 2 hours and left some in the bottle, which was drank 2 days later. Leave the tannins to soften whilst the other elements still are in play. Delicious with food, on its own rather harsh.

  cork broke on the bottom and started to crumble but luckily all pieces came out. Welcomed by a present tannic structure from where one could sense that this has needed lots of time. The tannins then softened quickly in the decanter, which probably wasnt even necessary and the wine got well together. Nose of dark cherry, licorice and hints of barnyard. On the palate solid fruit, cherry, black currant, blackberry, bell pepper, a herbaceous note such as violet or garrigue, leather, sous bois and also an iron mineralic touch. This is drinking very well now and might even continue to evolve

  I agree with Kostaslonis note from 2020. From this middling year a now beautiful wine. Elegant, restrained with length interest and complexity. A point but I suspect will go on.....

  Drank at home.
  The cork came out in 2 pieces with a dissintegrated 3rd middle piece but the wine was pure bliss .
  Decanted and drank in 1 hour
  Pure red fruit, no raisins or marmelade, dissolved tannins but with some grip still in them, a few earthy and gamey notes. The wine felt much younger than 26yo, balanced, smooth mouthfeel, elegant with medium finish.
  Beautiful
