  took to friends house and was not able to decant as long as I would have liked... however after 1 1/2 hrs it opened up. Still fairly big with very elegant fruit and some earthy notes (mushroom). When we finished the bottle my friend raided his cellar for some high end california pinots but none came close to this. I now remember why you have to pay to play in Burgundy.
